As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist tenants and visitors with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of security experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, loading and service zones, and building perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and/or local responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and/or contractor check-in processes, issuing directions and helping to support site rules and traffic flow.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
