As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist guests and store teams with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and client staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, disturbances, and medical-related calls, and notify management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail and entertainment areas, common spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational issues.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic locations, assist with crowd flow and line management, and support opening and closing routines such as checking doors, gates, and restricted areas.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, use communication devices per post orders, and coordinate with on-site personnel and local law enforcement when requested.
