As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and badge activity as needed. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while delivering clear communication and customer service.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and/or badge readers as assigned, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, requesting assistance, and coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and daily activity logs, document incidents and patrol findings, and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers.
