As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service. Your presence and attention to detail help maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to support your duties, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and permissions for entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Assist in carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client management.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for logistics and distribution environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees and visitors with security-related needs and information.
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or security-related violations according to site procedures.
Support emergency response activities as required, including coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management.
