As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities include overseeing alarm panels, managing access control systems, and communicating with both team members and visitors to help to deter incidents. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and coordinate communications for the location, dispatching appropriate personnel as needed for incidents and/or requests.
Maintain accurate records of all calls, incidents, and communications occurring during the shift.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Provide customer service by assisting residents, visitors, and staff with security-related inquiries and concerns.
Support security-related procedures and site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized activities within the property.
Communicate clearly and professionally with on-site personnel, management, and emergency responders when appropriate.
Assist in the coordination of emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
