As a Dispatch Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will support day to day security-related operations from a central post by monitoring alarms, coordinating responses, and documenting activity using computer-based tools. You will help manage access control and badge activity, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and deliver calm, customer-focused service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a tech office location by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when needed.
• Monitor access control, alarm, and/or video systems; receive calls for service; and dispatch officers and/or appropriate resources based on priority and site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communication with on-site teams, management, and/or public responders as directed.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and service requests using required reports and logs, and escalate concerns through the chain of command.
• Support on-site operations by tracking officer status and post coverage, coordinating routine checks, and assisting with shift communications and handoffs.
