Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations at a chemical or petrochemical location. You will monitor activities, communicate with team members, and help to deter incidents by maintaining awareness of your surroundings. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate communication between personnel, emergency responders, and site management from the dispatch center.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all incoming calls, incidents, and dispatch activities as required by site policies.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Assist in the management of access control and/or visitor entry, helping to verify authorization and direct individuals as needed.
  • Support the implementation of emergency response activities and relay information to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with field officers and site management regarding ongoing incidents and routine updates.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a strong presence and awareness through surveillance and communication systems.
