As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and support property teams with a customer-first approach. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, vandalism and/or other prohibited activity.
• Monitor and document activity in and around the property, including observing cameras when assigned, completing patrol logs and writing incident reports per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local emergency services when needed and assisting with access control during response.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking credentials, directing deliveries, managing visitor sign-in and/or issuing temporary access permissions in accordance with site procedures.
