As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the building by verifying credentials, logging visitors, and managing entry and exit of individuals at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the site.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, maintaining communication with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
  • Support a welcoming and professional atmosphere at the front desk, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
