Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, monitoring assigned areas and completing routine foot patrols to help spot and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, support access points, and provide courteous customer service while communicating clearly with tenants, visitors, and your team. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, building perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entrances and other access points, assist with visitor management as directed, and help maintain orderly flow of people and vehicles throughout the property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and requesting assistance as needed.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate observations and/or concerns to site leadership and/or property management.
