As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and guest concerns. You will communicate clearly with site contacts and local responders, document observations, and provide customer service with professionalism. This role requires an armed guard card/license and offers a team-focused, integrity-driven culture that values agility, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities for a commercial real estate environment.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation when appropriate and coordinating with site contacts and local emergency services as needed.
• Operate as an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws, including maintaining assigned equipment, following use of force guidelines, and completing required armed post documentation.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and visitor logs, and prepare clear written reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations.
