As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and management. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to building tenants, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior common areas, parking areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, managing visitor sign-in, and directing individuals to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear written reports of daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and follow-up actions, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
