As a Dispatch Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate security-related activity by monitoring alarms and video, managing radio and phone communications, documenting incidents, and supporting on-site officers with timely updates. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU driver policy. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
  • Operate dispatch functions for a commercial real estate location by monitoring alarms, CCTV, and/or other building systems, and coordinating communications with on-site officers and local responders.
  • Receive and prioritize calls for service, radio traffic, and incident reports, then dispatch appropriate resources while maintaining a calm, problem-solving approach during critical situations.
  • Document security-related events, service requests, and communications in logs and reports, and notify management and/or property representatives per site protocols.
  • Support site coverage by coordinating regular and random patrol activity around the property and perimeter, and tracking officer status updates and key post assignments.
