About The Position

Join Allied Universal at a high-end retail location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome guests, support access control and badge management, and serve as a helpful first point of contact for security-related questions. You will monitor activity from the desk, document incidents, and coordinate with onsite teams using computers and/or tablets. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Greet and screen visitors, vendors, and contractors, issue and/or track visitor credentials per site guidelines, and direct guests to the appropriate retail or management contacts.
  • Monitor access control points, CCTV, alarms, and/or communications systems from the front desk, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management, local authorities, and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete required logs and incident reports, maintain front desk records, and communicate shift updates to onsite teams to support consistent operations.
