As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site personnel and/or responders, and provide customer service with a people-first approach. Requirements

• Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years
• Guard Card/License - preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verifying authorization for entry and directing visitors and contractors according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disruptions, medical calls, and equipment or property concerns, and notify appropriate contacts as required.
• Complete routine documentation such as daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate observations to site leadership and incoming officers.
