As an Allied Universal Officer at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, document observations, respond to requests for assistance, and communicate clearly with site leaders. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a tech, media, and/or telecom location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and document entries and exits in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Support shipping, receiving, and/or equipment movement areas as assigned by observing for unusual conditions, maintaining post logs, and escalating concerns through the designated chain of command.
