As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting routine patrols throughout the campus, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly with the campus community. Requirements
- Able to ride a bike.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution and escalation as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during patrols.
- Collaborate with staff, students, and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed within the educational environment.
- Support Allied Universal operations by following all company guidelines and reporting any security-related concerns to supervisors.
