As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to calls for assistance, and document observations while delivering welcoming customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, associates, vendors and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, fires, spills and/or equipment alarms, and request additional support as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout food and beverage production, warehouse and/or office areas, including interior and exterior perimeter checks.
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit for employees, contractors and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
Observe for unusual activity, unsecured doors, propped doors, unauthorized persons and/or policy violations, and report concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Complete routine inspections of common areas, break rooms, storage areas and loading docks to identify security-related issues such as unsecured product, open bays and/or unattended deliveries.
Assist with delivery and driver check-in activities as assigned, such as directing traffic flow, verifying appointments and/or documenting trailer and seal information per site guidelines.
Monitor CCTV, alarms and/or other systems as assigned, report irregularities and coordinate response according to post orders.
Document patrols, incidents, observations and/or service actions in logs and reports in a timely manner.
Support emergency procedures, including evacuations, shelter-in-place and/or muster accountability processes, as directed by site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
