As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced food and beverage retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting team members and customers with clear, professional communication. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and help maintain an orderly environment. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and/or distribution location, including sales floor, receiving areas, stockrooms, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter as assigned.
Monitor entry and exit points, observe customer and employee activity for unusual behavior, and report concerns that may help to deter theft, damage, and/or unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, alarms, disturbances, and/or other urgent situations.
Complete security-related reports, activity logs, and incident documentation with clear, accurate details in accordance with site procedures.
Support store operations by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with customer concerns while maintaining a professional presence.
Communicate and coordinate with site management, Allied Universal supervision, and/or public responders as required by the situation.
Perform routine checks of doors, gates, lighting, refrigeration and delivery areas access points, and other assigned areas; report hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations through the proper channels.
