As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and employees, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
Follow all site-specific protocols and guidelines as directed by Allied Universal and the client.
Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
