As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and support access procedures as needed while providing a professional customer experience. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter routes, watching for unusual activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and vehicle movement areas as assigned, assist with traffic flow direction when requested per post orders, and report issues through the appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public authorities as directed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns in written logs and reports, and communicate updates during shift transitions.
