As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will focus on access control by welcoming tenants and visitors, checking credentials, managing visitor logs, and helping to control entry to key areas. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with building teams. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and access requirements at a commercial real estate location.
• Control access at building entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing contractor check-in and/or check-out, and maintaining access logs per site guidelines.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, and report irregular activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns through the appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, tenant spaces as authorized, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
