As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and promote peace of mind by monitoring entry points and managing badge access at a dynamic technology location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure environment, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. Requirements

This is primarily a driving post.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and authorizations for entry to help to deter unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities.
Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with on-site staff and law enforcement as required to address security-related concerns.
Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings within the tech, media, and telecom environment, adapting to unique site needs.
