Join Allied Universal at a busy food and beverage production location where you will support access control by greeting team members and visitors, checking credentials, managing badge and visitor logs, and helping monitor entry points and restricted areas. You will remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, communicate clearly with onsite teams, and respond to situations with calm professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Control entry and exit at gates and/or access points by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing traffic to designated areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
  • Complete required logs and reports, monitor cameras and alarms when assigned, and communicate security-related information to site personnel in a professional manner.
