As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage access control by greeting staff and visitors, confirming credentials, tracking entries and deliveries, and completing clear reports using site technology. You will remain visible at key points to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering helpful customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, supporting a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an industrial manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, site policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by checking identification, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing deliveries to designated areas.
- Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and badge readers, and report irregular activity, malfunctions, and/or policy violations per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services and completing required reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, yards, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or damage, and document observations per site procedures.
