Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will complete routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access concerns, and customer needs with clear communication and service. This is an armed post requiring an Armed Guard Card and/or License, backed by Allied Universal values of integrity, teamwork, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

• Have 1 or more years of security experience.
• Have an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification where required, and document visitor and vendor entry and/or exit in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, patrol observations, and incident response, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.
