You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, and communicate clearly while delivering standout customer service. This role requires an Armed Guard Card or License. Bring integrity and teamwork to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team.

Requirements

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Possess a Corrections Officer License.
  • Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity; help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited behavior through visible presence and communication.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, requesting law enforcement or medical assistance as appropriate, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete required reports and logs such as patrol activity, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate timely updates to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
