As an Armed Security Officer at a leading financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with team members and site personnel, respond to concerns, and deliver a professional customer service experience. Requirements

Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Possess a Corrections Officer License.
Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
A valid firearms permit is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control access for employees, visitors, and vendors by verifying identification, managing sign-in processes, issuing temporary badges when authorized, and directing individuals to the appropriate areas.
Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control, and report unusual activity, fraud indicators, and policy violations per site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site management and emergency services as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
