As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols at a bustling retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a secure environment for all. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering the opportunity to interact with the public, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to a caring team that values integrity, reliability, and innovation every day. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 02:30 PM - 11:30 PM

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
At least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents within the retail location.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when necessary according to site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities within the retail environment.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Follow all Allied Universal and client protocols for the handling, storage, and use of firearms while on duty.
