Join Allied Universal on an armed patrol post at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document and report activity, respond to situations with calm professionalism, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. This is a driving role requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with AU Driver Policy requirements. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $22.08 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

• Have 3 or more years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or have a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance from site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or authorization, and document entries, exits, and unusual activity according to post orders.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
