As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls with calm, clear communication. This is an armed, driving post, combining routine vehicle patrols with strong customer service and detailed reporting. Requirements

• Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma/GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Perform armed patrol duties, including regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public emergency services as directed.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, monitoring vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and documenting authorized entries and exits per site policy.
• Complete timely incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy issues to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
