You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access control and badge activity, and provide clear, customer-focused communication to tenants, visitors, and staff. You will work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, acting with integrity and a people-first mindset.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial property interiors, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, summoning law enforcement and/or medical assistance, and documenting actions taken.
• Monitor access control points and building activity, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and assist with visitor management and contractor check-in processes.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate updates to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
