Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol government locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Your role supports a caring, people-first culture driven by teamwork, integrity, and innovation. This is an armed post, requiring you to bring your expertise and professionalism to every shift. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $20.90 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sun 11:45 AM - 05:15 PM

Requirements

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Have at least six months of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter, observing for suspicious activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related concerns, hazards, or unusual activity according to Allied Universal protocols.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and authorizations as required by site-specific procedures.
Support law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents at the location.
Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and related equipment, complying with all applicable regulations and Allied Universal policies.
