As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and respond promptly to security-related needs. Requirements

  • At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
  • An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols specific to an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, verifying credentials as required for an armed post in an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and personnel, addressing inquiries and reporting concerns as needed.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and client site procedures.
  • Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions, promptly reporting and responding to security-related situations as required.
