As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and respond promptly to security-related needs. Requirements

At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols specific to an aerospace and defense location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, verifying credentials as required for an armed post in an aerospace and defense environment.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and personnel, addressing inquiries and reporting concerns as needed.
Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and client site procedures.
Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions, promptly reporting and responding to security-related situations as required.
