As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious behavior or activity.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, following all applicable procedures.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents that may arise at the government location.
Uphold Allied Universal's standards of professionalism and customer service at all times while on duty.
