As a Driving Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access points and alarm activity as needed. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and perimeter lines, watching for unusual activity and potential hazards.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and help to maintain orderly traffic flow for employees, contractors, and deliveries.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate shift updates to oncoming personnel according to site procedures.
