As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors, respond to questions and concerns, and communicate clearly with your team and site contacts. Requirements

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, suspicious activity, and tenant concerns, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, loading dock and/or parking areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access-control issues.
• Monitor access points and authorized entry, verify credentials as required, assist with visitor check-in and/or directions, and maintain a professional presence in lobbies and shared areas.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, and document observations clearly and accurately for management review.
