As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, respond to concerns, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity, while putting people first in every interaction.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security experience OR a college degree.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance and requesting additional support as needed.
- Document security-related activities, incidents, and patrol observations in written and/or electronic reports in accordance with site requirements.
