As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises to support access control measures.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific policies and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Document and report observations, incidents, and/or irregularities to site management and Allied Universal as required.
Support emergency response activities as outlined in client and Allied Universal procedures.
