As an Allied Universal Security Professional specializing in access control, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry and exit points at a busy logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a secure environment.   • Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or security-related breaches.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, including property damage, theft, or unusual activity, to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as required, including guiding individuals to designated areas and providing information to emergency responders.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
