As an Allied Universal Security Professional, you will support access control at a residential location, monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with residents and guests, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location.
- Monitor and control access to the property, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site management.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with residents, visitors, and property management staff.
- Assist in emergency response activities as appropriate, providing support and direction to residents and visitors when needed.
