As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible, interact with team members and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. Your presence will help foster a secure environment where people and operations can thrive. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help maintain authorized entry.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel with inquiries related to site-specific access procedures and policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access or potential security-related concerns.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel to support logistics and distribution operations while maintaining security-related protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures for the location.
