As an Access Control Officer at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Perform access control duties at entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles to maintain security-related protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to observe for suspicious activity and/or potential hazards.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting employees and visitors with security-related concerns.
Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to identify and report irregularities.
Document security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site-specific policies.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
