As an Access Control Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and foster a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Monitor entry and exit points at the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or unusual activity to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and orderly environment at the location.
