As an Access Control Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances, patrol assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Experience working at sites with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit from the location.
Perform regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential violations and maintain awareness of surroundings.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Document and report any observed security-related incidents or irregularities according to Allied Universal procedures.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access needs in accordance with site policies.
Work collaboratively with client representatives, Allied Universal team members, and local authorities as needed.
