As an Allied Universal team member in an access control role at an automotive location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible to assist visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and guests. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, offering you the opportunity to make a positive impact in a dynamic environment. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $18.15 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and policies to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client-specific guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns according to site and Allied Universal requirements.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals to designated areas and coordinating with first responders.
