As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This role involves driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities.
Verify credentials of individuals entering the premises, following site-specific procedures and protocols.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and directions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or breaches.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities in accordance with company and client procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency response teams as needed during emergencies or incidents.
Support adherence to site-specific policies and procedures, particularly those related to chemical and petrochemical operations.
