Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Site Patrols in Arlington, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will engage with people on site, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly as part of a supportive team. Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activities and/or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or vendors while on patrol within the financial institution environment.
Assist with access control procedures and verify identification as required by site-specific protocols.
Document and report all security-related observations, incidents, and/or emergencies according to Allied Universal and client policies.
