Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols and engaging with employees and visitors to support a secure environment. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and information as needed.
Assist with access control measures, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols to help to maintain order within the location.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns and/or incidents.
