As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution location, you will help manage lobby and entry point access, verify badges and visitor credentials, monitor alarms and CCTV, and complete clear reports. You will remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents while providing professional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to location staff and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry to restricted banking areas by verifying identification, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns to management and/or emergency services as directed.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry by monitoring alarms, cameras, and access control systems, and reporting irregular activity according to site procedures.
• Complete security-related reports and documentation, including incident reports, shift activity logs, and access control records, and communicate pertinent updates during shift turnovers.
